Over the years I’ve seen so many diets, fads, 42 day challenges, vit B 12 shots, diet pills, protein diets , blood group diets etc….
Let me tell you- it does not work.
When you are ‘on’ these diets and drugs you lose weight . The moment you are off them- you gain MORE weight. Reason is simple- is our fat cells do not die- they shrink! Once you gain one kg, you will forever easily gain that back if you lose it via these diets it makes you more ‘prone’ to gaining that extra kg again. There is more scientific explanation, but I don’t want to confuse you.
What works?
Healthy eating at every meal- the correct choices. Choose Grilled over fried, brown over white, organic over processed and water over soda. If you can do this as much as possible PLUS workout a minimum of 30mins a day- you will remain fit and healthy. You will lose weight but it will be slow and gradual and it will be a long term investment.
